This song seems to be about someone who lost someone close to them, and wants to reunite with them in Heaven, but this person doesn't want to commit suicide, because they fear that they would be rejected from Heaven (Not able to take my life. For fear of rejection into the light.). The only thing this person can do is wait, which is why they curse that they are so young. |

I can not believe nobody has commented on this song yet! This is undoubtedly one of the best songs off the new album, and dare I say one of the best PTW songs in general, there's just so much emotion in it, it's extraordinary. I get the feeling this song is about someone who doesn't feel he is loved by his family and doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere. The last lyrics seem to hint at something in this direction, although I'm not entirely sure. |

I think Waveburner is right. The song is saying that they changed their sound, that they don't sound like they used to (they're not the foolish kids they used to be), and that the fans should get over that, instead of complaining about it (stop wishing for yesterday). |

This song was inspired by the book "Veronica decides to die". In the book the protagonist Veronica, who lives in Slovenia, is so bored with her life she decides to overdose on sleeping pills (hence the first two lines of the song). She doesn't kill herself though, and ends up in a mental hospital, where she finds out she has a week to live. You can read more about the book on Wikipedia. This song kicks ass btw, one of the better songs on the album. |
