it about religion and thats all there is too it. You have to actually know of davey, read all his interviews, listened to all his songs. You can just analyse one of his songs and think you know whats going on. He is an atheist and has strong views about relgion. Also, i am in the despair faction and i told him how he 'helped me become atheist through songs such as the great disappointment, let it be broke, smile, sacrilege and more' and he said "thats fantastic, its great to know our music can have such a POSITIVE influence on your life, thank you shari." the only place to see loved ones that have passed away are in your dreams. (or if you have photos) lol but seriously/ |

davey is atheist. its about stopping relgion. Let's amend the classic story, close it so beautifully, Steal away the darkened pages, hidden so shamefully. I'll still feel the violence of the lines. its about the story, pages and lines of the bible. I can't stand my laughter as they cry. - i think he is laughing at religious people as they weep and wail for jesus. even thorugh his new songs you can see the views he has on relgion. eg. "dont tell them you can walk on water or they will drink your blood. |
