Deciet - The act or practice of deceiving; deception A lot of times we are turned away or lead to believe certain things even religiously. I have felt this way for a very long time and it wasn't till I came to realization that I need not let this get my way spiritually or the way I feel I do. I simply gave up a few years ago and It's finally coming back to me. Believe what you know is right dont let other stray you away from that. There are things, churches, and people who put a curtain of deception over the truth in order to further themselves. The song in my opinion represents this. The person once had faith or true beliefs and was lead astray or gave up in my case. They release they have been deceived and are asking forgiveness and god to come back in their heart. |

I think it's about people who look down on others. Could be seen as a play on words to describe this. "Your eyes are your ammunition," Your eyes are your weapon "Your gaze is killing me." Looking down upon someone is degrading or thinking less of them "this assault will bring me strength." People doing this give you strength in who you are. | Love this song, Pillar a lot has of songs I can relate to personally. Too many times we hold stuff inside us and we let that dictate our decisions that we make in life. We need to learn to release those feelings and make our on decisions with our own heart and feeling. Pillar has taught me a lot of things, especially religion though we experience stuff we don't like in the churches, or through other christian people we can't get caught up in those things, all that matters is you're personal relationship with god and you let him deal with the problems, and the people.
