| he's saying taht we are all sinners. Johnny was interested in Catholism when he was writing the new album so included this track with a biblical theme running through it. He's not preaching. I think this song is about a girl that's cheated on him ( "since you slept in that liar's den") and now he cant forgive her because she's hurt him, i.e. she's not innocent anymore. and until she proves that she isn't a cheat, he cant forgive her "you cannot return until your innocence is earned" (small mistake in the lyrics. | |
