I can understand how some HORSE the band lyrics are easy to misinterpret, but I've been going through a few of them and it's the clearly spoken words that are getting fudged up. If you are going to post this as a reference for people to use, please try to be more accurate. I could be the one misinterpreting, but this is what I'm hearing.... I'm mesmerized, a servant to the light I reached unto to the red and blue, The green, yellow and white. Lingering so lovingly to the song to kill a scream Brighter than stars themselves; sweeter than ice cream The masses meld The titans come This crowd torn asunder To a quivering mass They smile down at me; devour my face and head And ev-ery-thing Was washed away I stand to light I wont break White This per-fect Light Clean A-gain Lim-ma-ted. Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Illuminated on hungry smiles Caterpillars and crocodiles Ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Light Bulb Flash Pulse Bright Light Bright Night; everyone's fucked Light Bulb Flash Pulse Bright Light Bright Night; everyone's fucked Things never change Only re-arrange Like a suicide It's do or die Coming down A-gain Like a grain of sand Caught in your eye Now you're blind |

| Public Enemy – Fight the Power Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song represents what was going on in an urban 80's setting. it's a period song that put a stamp on my mind of what African Americans were still going through even after a century of freedom. Corporations were still trying to keep mostly whites in the media for I have know idea why???? (America had some crazy racist moments I can't explain) Everyone was trying to pretend like this wasn't happening and Public Enemy was reaching out to their race saying we need to do something about this. This is not white America our life has meaning too. | |
| Brooke Valentine – Girlfight Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is a great anthem to any girl in the hood that needed to prove herself. Fighting in the hood is kind of like a right of passage. In middle school I noticed some girls were targeting me and I didn't know why. It was so annoying. Then finally i had enough and threw down. After that everyone left me alone. Fights happen a lot in the hood. Way more than in the burbs. I think women from the hood are harder and don't take verbal abuse lightly and aren't really scared to get their ass whooped. | |
| Interpol – All Fired Up Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's like the feeling that your invincible. You have no fears and nothing is going to hold you back or get in yur way and you have no problem telling someone how it is. | |

| Jason Webley – Icarus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is a song about exploring something new and getting overwhelmed. Assuming you all know the story of Icarus and his wax wings. With the sexual undertones I would have to say this is a song about exploring your sexuality and feeling awkward about it. Maybe Webley got into something really kinky and felt a little over his head. | |
| Jason Webley – Absynthe Make The Heart Grow Fonder Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song has a feeling of being sentimental as we often do with a little to much to drink. His mispronunciation of Chimera confused me. Is he referring to a lost love as a mythical creature. I wouldn't put it past Webley. The song fallows the theme of intoxication and wanting. There's a love he can reach, but often thinks about. When he drinks to much he might settle for someone more obtainable, but still longs for the love a drift. | |
