This song is referencing Michael's mother and her slipping into the hands of the game and the streets after he dies- i just thought i would mention that the last lines of the ending stanza "I asked my baby..." appear in "the coolest"--- Michael states that the streets have got his heart and the game has got his soul, but his mother's perspective is the opposite, the game's got her heart and the streets have got her soul.. this of course is because the streets is a female, and the game is a male

Not the lyrical greatness??? Lupe is a lyrical genius and his songs are packed with metaphors and double meanings. Now ill admit that some of his beats are below par compared to other rappers, but hes the most intelligent rapper out there and can adapt his flow like no other |
