| Imogen Heap – Little Bird Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I believe this song is about people pretending to be perfect, and the little bird is like immi's spy, watching them. | |
| Imogen Heap – I Am in Love with You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I actually think immi is mocking people who say they love people just to be with them and then drop them. Or perhaps she is saying that she herself is fickle in relationships. | |
| Imogen Heap – Hide and Seek Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I believe it is about change. It is about times, people and places that were important have changed. Where are we? What the hell is going on? (meaning she doesn't recognize the new way of things) The dust has only just begun to fall Crop circles in the carpet Sinking feeling (It signifies how new life is now) Spin me around again and rub my eyes This can't be happening (she doesn't beleive the change is happening) When busy streets a mess with people Would stop to hold their heads heavy (It shows the communitys sadness) Hide and seek (could mean she is looking for her comfort zone) Trains and sewing machines All those years They were here first (she feels like those ways that were there first should still be here) Oily marks appear on walls Where pleasure moments hung before (she is remembering times) The takeover, the sweeping insensitivity Of this still life (she is not comfortable) Mm what'cha say? Mm, that you only meant well Well of course you did Mm what'cha say? Mm that it's all for the best Of course it is Mm what'cha say? Mm that it's just what we need You decided this? Mm what'cha say? Mm what did you say? (she doesn't beleive the change is for the better) Ransom notes keep falling out your mouth Mid-sweet-talk newspaper word cutouts (paper word cutouts) Speak no feeling; no, I don't believe you You don't care a bit You don't care a bit (she doesn't beleive they are right about chan ge being good) |

| Pink – Long Way To Happy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's about sexual and someone trying to find happiness again. She talks about being afraid of everyone and wanting to forget it. | |
| Imogen Heap – Can't Take It In Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| She is talking about being in a new place that she is absolutely in love with and is just overwhelmed by. | |
| Imogen Heap – The Walk Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's about a relationship that she doesn't want to get involved with. She finds the person attractive and likes him secretly but she is trying to control herself and stay away from him. She knows it's wrong, but she is too weak to stay away. | |
| James Blunt – Goodbye My Lover Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It's obviously about a relationship that didn't work. They are saying goodbye but he still cares for her. It kind of reminds me of Ted and Robin from How I met Your Mother... haha | |
| James Blunt – Out Of My Mind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think jame sis talking about being controlled and judged. | |
| James Blunt – Wisemen Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it is talking about how even the best people can be led astray. Wisemen are supposed to be holy and, well, wise. The song say's they did supposedly "wrong" things, and even though they are sorry it doesn't change what they have done. | |

| Skillet – Comatose Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Yes, the song is about god, but it could easily be interpreted as being about a woman. Anyway, I don't usually listen to songs about religion, but I do love this one. The violin in the beginning is just enchanting! | |
| Yael Naim – New Soul Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Another thing, THEY SHOULD HAVE USED THIS SONG IN THE MOVIE MARTIAN CHILD!!! It fits perfectly no matter how you interpret it, weather it is about love, children, a foreigner, or just a strange person! | |
| Yael Naim – New Soul Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think it is about a person who just came to a new place and feels very young and naive. It could also be about children. |
|
| Melanie Safka – Look What They've Done to My Song Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it is about how music company's change an artists music, and their true message. They can ruin the deepness of an artist because their intention is to make money. | |
| Emmy Rossum – Slow Me Down Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I believe it is about someone trying to find themselves, but her life is so fast paced that she is having trouble finding her footing. | |
| Tantric – Down And Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it is about a friend that betrayed the person whose point of view it is. | |
| Imogen Heap – Loose Ends Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Alot of these lyrics are very wrong. I believe it is about someone who is generally irresponsible and lazy in their actions. Because of this, their love life is going down the toilet. "doing everything by halves" got a real flare with excuses meeting someone at the bar where loose ends still have uses" This means the irresponsible person can't finish things. "doing everything by haves" and "loose ends" means that the person can't commit to anything. "it's complicated this time I think it could be triangulated it could be just what we need so what you say we give it up and walk away we're overrated anyway" I think it is just saying how their love life is so complicated and they are talking about ending it. "we're kissing without kissing got it down to a fine art love's supposed to keep you young & frisky but we grew up and wide apart not now not ever, no it's never a good time how will the good times ever roll on comparing photos that are no longer there just wondering where it all went" She is saying they are drifting apart from each other. No longer do they kiss. They realized love wasn't making them happy, which is what she means by "We grew up and wide apart". When she says "Not now not ever, no it's never a good time, how will the good timer ever roll on" means the person she loves never want's to take action. "Want to, oh, need to, oh, try to oh, none of the above" This means the person has no intentions of doing things right, nor does he have any want or need to do so. Hope this was right ;) |

| Imogen Heap – Have You Got It In You? Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think it's metaphorically about a battle. Maybe a batlle with herself or with another person. The way she say's "Bow down, floors yours" makes me think it's a battle with herself, maybe to make herself do something. | |
| Imogen Heap – Angry Angel Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think in this song, she means her "angry angel" is another part of herself. Perhaps her more destructive and careless side. Maybe when she say's "He's frowning like hell in disgrace of me" She means she didn't listen to her "bad' side, and when she say's "I'm not feeling guilty" she means she chose the right path. | |
| Imogen Heap – Glittering Cloud Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| In my opinion, the song is about how a creature can not beat it's own nature. Locusts have the instinct to devour and destroy, but the particular locusts point of view shows that it is trying to change itself. In humans this could mean our violent or sexual tendencies that nature has programmed into us and some of us just can't change. it could also mean something about addiction. | |
