This song was perfect for my wedding photograph slideshow. And will be perfect for my 50th Anniversary where...maybe we'll play a slideshow or something...I don't know I'll be old. It's true though really. I see a photograph of my wife and I in high school and it brings me back to when we fell in love. |

Amazing song about the fall of man. We wouldn't want to deny Christ if we're thinking rationally, but we are imperfect and he forgives. Why are we looking elsewhere? "It's like looking for a key on our hands and knees when it's already opened up." We know and we're all thinking about the one true God but we're human. |

This is my favorite song of all time. It makes me want to be a better man, give away my possessions and stop caring about all the things that don't matter. "...give this world motion that could carry on when I'm gone." He first talks about the moments when you think about the meaning, the significance of your own life...here in the U.S. we like our possessions but they're things that we can't keep. There are reasons and ways that we can live better lives. They were emotions that stirred in us when we were younger, more idealistic. But those emotions are deeply rooted in us and they still move in us. We still believe them, we just gotta do what's right... Well it's more from his own perspective haha but I can relate very closely to what he's saying. |

As I become more aware of others hardships, just basic struggles in daily life that I've never had to deal with, I realize that I need to give away a lot of what I have. Songs like this are too scarce but always speak to me the most. Listen to Watashi Wa (before they were called Lakes) "All that I can't keep." It is my favorite song of all time and it basically says when we die, we can't keep our possessions, so why not give them away and live with a better meaning. |

Indian Lover is refering to the girl the singer married. I may be wrong but I believe his wife is part Native American. Seth has a tattoo of an indian on his arm as well and that's probably symbolizing her as well. As for the Lyrics...They speak to me like marriage vows. I just got married and it sounds like Seth is making a lifelong commitment to his wife as I did to mine. Marriage is about loving eachother, forever, through all the good and the bad...and the bad won't be so bad because love will be there. |
