| i think the first line is sarcasm, like he's saying "hey girl, your so amazing, you can do what you want to whoever you want" cause breathing underwater is impossible obviously. i also think the singer assumes the ex girlfriend is so full of herself that she might try to breathe underwater and die. i dont think he's literally talking about drowning and death maybe breathing underwater is just like a metaphor for screwing with a dudes heart. it could be anything im pretty sure the song can mean different things to different people | |
