I love this album. I listened to it nonstop when it first was released and then i kinda stopped for a while then i put it in my cd player again yesterday and i forgot how amazing it is. The whole album is so religious and i love it because of that. And aaron has one of the best voices in rock i believe. i mean come on, i know he doesnt play the drums for this band but it takes some talent to sing and play the drums, especially for a hardcore band like underoath. dude does work. |

This is another great song written by Tom.
"Dear God, i found out the same things we learn when we die."
He's trying to say that he has figured out what we all want to know: What is the meaning of life?
"I found out the truth is, it's all a big lie."
The life that everyone expects for us from when we are kids is to grow older and get good grades, go to college, get a job, and work a 9-5 job for the majority of the remainder of our lives. But Tom believes that we have been put here for a far better reason. Just like the rest of the album and songs like epic holiday and some origins of fire, he wants us to realize that life is a miracle and we are only hear once so go out and do the things that you have always dreamed of before you look back on your life when you are older and regret not doing those things.

He's saying that it is difficult to tell the world what he has figured out and he needs God's help with the delivery. |

this song to me is about a guy who cant get over an ex-girlfriend who left for some reason broke up with him and he didnt see it coming so now he's trying to cope with the whole thing but its taking him a long time to get over her. therefore he has to "entertain the pain" to make the bad not seem so bad. |
