When I first heard this, I thought it was a very sad song. I had no idea that Fiona had been raped (obviously haven't read up much on her). That changed my entire perspective... and at 12 too? She always looked so sad in photographs, now I understand why... Changes my perspective on her as an artist completely. |

Yeah, I agree with the comment above. I think war is a metaphor for any kind of struggle, be it one literally between nations, or on a smaller scale, any kind of personal struggle/pain... Maybe he's saying that we already have all the answers inside of ourselves, we just need to take either another, or deeper look inside |
