so the meaning of the song is pretty simple im pretty sure this is autobiographical and from experience he was dating a girl, the broke up, she went for an older lad. he describes the type of guy he is and how the girls friend think his good looking 'fit'. the part about school is pretty self explanatory, the girl wags and the guy comes and picks her up. when they say 'they've got engaged with no intetntion of a wedding' you would most likely read into it as they are doing it cos its the latest trend. His also saying that although he made himself & others around him believe he wasn't sad to see her go, he actually was. the other version of this song is deffinitly greattt but there both excellent |
