This song has two meanings to me. My ex and I dated for 8 months. I fell for him really hard and I still love him so much. So, the part that says, "I can't help it I just feel complete when your by my side" always gets me. Also, when he says "don't you dare say we can just be friends" because thats what he said to me. Those words hurt me so badly. The second meaning it has to me is my brother in law is away in Afghanistan and I see what he means to my sister. She is hysterical with him gone and it means a lot for her to know he will be home soon and for him to know she (and the baby she is pregnant with) will always be there. They have been through a lot in the last 6 or 7 years and they deserve to be together. He means the world to us and so this song really gets to me and my sister. My ex and I are actually in a band together and are planning to cover this song. It took me a LONG time to actually listen to Escape The Fate because of Ronnie being in jail and Craig trying to take over. But there music is actually not bad at all. This song means a lot to me. To me it's just about being in love. Obviously haha. But it's an amazing song. |
