I've just recently started listening to Amy Winehouse. I was really surprised about this song. It makes me think of a time a few years ago when I started hooking up with a friend a lot. It got weird when he started seeing someone, and yet we just kept being together. In the end we couldn't be friends anymore because our relationship had changed so much. Once he got serious about this girl he would not want me in his house at night. I couldn't help but think he should just dump her for me. "I don't like that way you say my name." Interesting line. I remember not at all enjoying how he would speak to me like a friend after we'd been intimate. |
