I think that the fact that the first verse lists the names of guys- "Jim, James..." was likely the entire reason this song wound up being covered. And so what? It's a cool version and reinforces Jim's willingness to keep expanding his boundaries. |

I always think of this as a song about being in a bar when some guy who looks like Jesus came in to play, perhaps Christian music, and no one gave a shit because they sucked. |
