| This song is actually about a highschool friend of the lead singer, Joshua Pearson. I'm also friends with Josh so I've heard this story from him many times. Josh went to school with this guy who he didn't really talk to except for a "Hey! How are you?" every now and then. They graduated and never spoke until this day the guy calls Josh while he's on tour with his band. He says, "Josh, I want to thank you for being so nice to me in highschool. You were one of the nicest people I knew." Josh was confused but very glad that the guy admired him the way he did. Then, the guy tells Josh that he was going to take his life later that night. They talked about it for a while and Josh finally convinced him that there was no need and that he should talk to God and work things out. | |
