Isn't this song about, well, a song? It's about "insipid rhyme" and "play[ing] yourself to death in me", right? How could it not be about a song that got stuck in someone's head? It's happened to me before and I end up giving in, downloading the song and playing it over and over and over until I'm sick of it. Even if the original song was about someone's heroine addiction, I don't think the lyrics imply it. And it's not about relationships either. That doesn't make sense through the whole song. Parts, yes. But not all the way through. |
