Because gyspies steal things from the junkyard? ..which the doberman is guarding, of course.
It seems to be from the dog's point of view and the way it sees the humans as having no past and no future. But I don't wanna hate on the gyspies. They're pretty rad. Although, I know that's not all the song means but on the surface that's what I see. |

I absolutely love this song.
I'm one of those "young people" and I understand this song so much because I've felt this exact way, when I was listening to it one night and realized how similar it was to my situation. I've always liked this song but never really listened to the lyrics and I'm so glad that I did. Knowning that Anthony probably had the same problem, (although I think I was on the other end of the story, being the one that supposedly "changed" and that I just didn't want the relationship after there were problems that I wasn't about to try to fix) it makes me feel better about what happened and that I just have to deal with the fact that people change and life goes on. |
