Lydia – Music Makers Lyrics 15 years ago
Probably not right, but this is what I thought it was:

We are the music makers
A dream inside your dreams
We are the music makers
A dream inside your dreams
We are the music makers
A dream inside your dreams
We are
We are
We will be your music

The Dear Hunter – Black Sandy Beaches Lyrics 16 years ago
Oh! And the ending note played in the song, the soft one before you hear the seagulls, it reminds me of how Ms. Terri almost drowned. So maybe Ms. Leading drowned herself at the beach? Just a guess.

The Dear Hunter – Black Sandy Beaches Lyrics 16 years ago
apparently the Dear Hunter has been writing letters to Ms. Leading. I think it was him who put them in bottles and cast them out into sea, probably after he left her, but I don't know how they got broken or onto the beach. The entire thing may even be a metaphor.

But apparently Ms. Leading is walking along this beach and finds all of the letters. She reads along and the letters and enjoys them, not realizing that they are her own story. Apparently he compares her love to his love, how much he loved her more, and she feels that he made the right decision in throwing this woman out of her life, not realizing it was her he was talking about. As she reads, she sees tears stain the bottom of the page. I'm guessing the bottles didn't break while they were in the sea, or else the pages would be soaked. So somebody broke them before and maybe left them there? The Pimp/Priest? The Dear Hunter himself?

Anyway, Ms. Leading soon connects the two stories and realizes it's her. She starts crying.

The ending lines could mean three things: Ms. Leading quit her prostitution and is far happier than she ever has been, she has fallen much too deep into her prostitution and is the worst she ever has been, or she is dead.

The Dear Hunter – The Inquiry of Ms.Terri Lyrics 16 years ago
A home removed, a life resumed right here.
The Priest and the Rosary,
The book and the bond between he and me has long since broken.
A boy who's grown, too short to see,
A tale unfold, too tall to be.
A life once lived behind closed doors,
The irony of the pensive whore

Touch, taste,
Feel it ripping me down.
Reprise, two times, the Dime.
Burn it to the ground.

The inquiry of Ms. Terri,
The expiry of misery,
The table turns, the sun along,
The riverbed, and he's alone.
Her object of affection,
Conflicted by convictions of indecency, sorority,
Corrupted by impropriety.
The cavalier, she hopes of him,
In dissonance with experience,
The boy who grows, with knife in hand,
To fend for her, becomes a man
While she plays fake affection,
And carefully lacks objection,
To her gentleman caller's twisted desire.

Touch, taste,
Feel it ripping me down.
Reprise, two times, the Dime.
Burn it to the ground.

We dance around the room,
My love, I'll carry you,
And I'll teach you how to treat that Leading lady that you'll meet.
We dance around the truth, my dear
I lie for you, and when I lie down, I'm simply lying to them too

it's already been said that the Dear Hunter doesn't find out that she's a prostitute until the second half of the second album. I think this is Ms. Terri continuing her prostitution at the Dime, and she actually cares for her son enough to lie to him and fake that he has a normal life with a normal mother. What's strange is that she knows about Ms. Leading, another prostitute the Dear Hunter falls for in the second album. Anyway, "Dance around the truth" proves that for the two of them to lead a happy life, they must dance around the truth--not necessarily be in it. She promises to teach him to be a decent gentleman and fend for the one he loves. I'm not sure, but I also thinks that she hopes he will someday rid the world of--"burn down" The Dime, the whore house.
