The song is about an old man who is watching his own wife die. He watched her throw her bouquet because he was the groom. Now he's alone in his bed. He's planning her funeral, and he mentions that he's seen many of their friends die as well. His wife is suffering and he's saying he'll give her the drugs she needs to die easier. He doesn't want her to suffer. He hopes she would have done the same for him. |
