Wow is this song (and band) a tremendous, incredible piece of crap. These lyrics are the self-centered ramblings of someone who appears to have no way of empathizing with others. The romantic songs are hackneyed and egotistical, and this one is straight up misogynist. You know that next girl you meet? Bet you're gonna be singing the same song about her after she ditches your ass for being an egocentric prick and you can go back to blaming it on bipolar disorder and reveling in your "drug addiction". What a lame piece of crap. Obviously can't handle drugs, lyricism, or a guitar. Needs to go away now and never play another song again. |

Umm...I'm going to (ironically) criticize these lyrics. This isn't "eloquent anger", it's just a ragtag collection of slam lines that include "you don't even create, you just critique", which is a really lame argument. The prophetic/copacetic couplet is laughably bad. This song has a great title, though. It would be much better if the lyrics were full of critic-speak that exposes itself has hollow and shallow. The cleverness in this song ends at the title. |
