Ding, Ding, Ding.... Desaparecida you hit it on the head. Kevin once admitted to having girls on the side whilst on tour, and if I remember correctly Tiffany or Sabrina left him for it. I'm thinking they left him for a different guy, and this song is the slap in the face/confessional. As for the morbid thought of suicide, you are correct, and that is the meaning to that line. Kevin has attempted suicide twice.. Or once and contemplated it. Either way, I think this line is talking about that, and that this song is a general reflection of the death of his relationship with his (ex?)wife, and his true thoughts and feelings on it. If you listen to him, you'll learn moat of the relationship songs are based on his failed ones. |
