| Franz Ferdinand – Send Him Away Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
It's simply loving someone in the moment. No thoughts to the future or past, no jealousy, no one else but the two of them. It fits very well with the whole feel of the album. On a personal note, I'm in the middle of one of these types of relationships right, so every lyric makes complete sense to me |

| Broken Bells – Mongrel Heart Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| this song has a really creepy vibe to it, I think it would make an amazing music video, if done correctly. | |
| The Shins – Girl Sailor Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
"But, you've won one too many fights, Wearing all of your clothes at the same time," I think that line was a reference to that episode of "Friends" where Joey puts on all of his clothes at once. |

| Broken Bells – The Mall and Misery Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I love the transition between tracks from Mongrel Heart. Does anyone think that The Mall has anything to do with this line from Nothing at All? "You got a feeling nothing here is free, 'Cause you grew up in a mall." |

| Franz Ferdinand – Turn It On Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Is it just me or does the noise over the chorus sound like the lens of a camera whirring? So "turn it on" and take a picture? that was my first thought. | |
| Shakira – Pies Descalzos, Sueños Blancos Lyrics | 16 years ago |

in a lot of literature you can find that eve, or the woman in general is blamed for the fall of mankind. A lot of earlier philosophers thought that the woman was evil, and dangerous to man, and so felt the need to opress her. She talks about marrying before thirty, and if not then no other choice but to devote themselves to god, even if they don't want it" Women were(still) not allowed to go to school, because men thought that this would enable them to not be as submissive. I feel she attempts a commentary at a few different subjects, so it is hard to give one meaning to the song. |
