I agree with Paulienomial completely, I love the crack rock steady scene and what they stand for... but really, some of the followers are complete morons, thinking that they're the only outcasts or that their own opinions are valid. You're not the only ones being picked on, think about how many genres you pick on.
I'm not one to really enforce "world peace" and all that jazz completely, but I do believe that we can reach a fair almost-decent harmony if we all just stop shitting all over each other. If you don't understand what someone believes in or simply enjoys (such as emo music?) then try to understand or shut up! You don't have to hate on something as petty as an interest in a genre.
