This song is about a guy who is really high on crack living in the projects. his dealer lives upstairs and is getting raided by the cops, but he is so high he thinks they are going to bust him:
"My sight was poor but I was sure the sirens sang their songs for me"
but they are actually in the apartment above his:
"They dance above me as I sink I see them through a crystal haze"
And hear them bouncing round the room the never ending coral maze
The cops are bouncing around the room looking for his dealer's supply of crack cocaine and he hears them throwing the furniture "bouncing around the room"
