To me, the song is talking about how her partner cheated on her. "and this breeze blew in with a glitch in the tide disguised as storm free begging you please to take a ride well soften your sails and take a ride open the wings and let her fly" How she says there was a glitch in the tide disguised as storm free, it just reminds me of the guy meeting another girl who kind of pulled him into a friendship and then they ended up having an affair. |
