It's pretty straightforward. It's about a boy who grew up poorly and made wrong decisions which landed him in jail. He loved it so much though because of all of the "beautiful boyz" (he was, obviously, homosexual) so he kept going back there because he liked the environment of all of these men. |

| I think it's about two boys, same age, same size, who are fist fighting. Therefore, they do not need any baseball bats to beat each other with. The mom knows this is going on and she is scared that he might die so she asks for someone to go help him. The brothers and everyone watching feels that fights are "normal" and he just needs to "grow up" and realize that he's older and this will happen. In the end, the son dies because nobody cared to do anything when this was all going on. | |

I think it's about the effect from an abusive father who was never there. No matter who they go to, the man always reminds them of their father. But they have to "get up on that horse and look back with no remorse." They have to shake off what he did to them and look forward to a better day. Really lovely song :) |

I love this song :) I don't know if it's because I actually AM a "girl singer" or if it's the beautiful melody of it .. Or maybe both. Well, it's pretty obvious: He's in love with this girl singer and he wants to marry her ("Would you wear my ring, 'cause you're a pretty thing too, inside"), he believes she is beautiful inside and out. Sometimes he doubts her but he always comes to the conclusion that he loves this girl singer. I love WHEAT. |
