welll i think god is talking to him basically. "Hey unfaithful, hey ungraceful, hey unloving I will love you" is god speaking and all of those parts. The person says "Oh, sweet angel of mercy, with your grace like the morning Wrap your loving arms around me" he's begging for this angel of mercy to forgive him for being unfaithful, ungraceful and unloving. and many people have different opinions on this part but i think when he says "And Jesus I'm ready to come HOME!" he means that he is ready to go to heaven since he is forgiven. |
