Great except when he put his bread on the even red, he "got black nine". Cheers, R |

Good work, except it's "flushed them down the basin." English-speak. Cheers, R |

Damn close, man. First line I think begins "Came an angel". Second verse first line, "climbed above my fear." Second line, I've got no idea what he says but for the rhyme scheme it's got to rhyme with fear and year. And cheers, R |

Great work, except it's a "bullet hole in the holy roman flag", I think. Cheers, R |

Howdy, thanks for adding! First chorus, first line should read "Will she see me as a rival" Second verse, penultimate line should read "and there, written on her grave," Great work! Cheers, R |

Thanks for adding! I sure wish Mr. Saloman would issue lyrics officially. My guesses: First Verse: Third line I believe is "I never guessed that the tears were always laughter based." First Chorus: "Do you think you have sussed me? Could it be you don't trust me? You cannot readjust me, and the more you try, the darker I shine" Second Chorus: "Do you think you've outgrown me? Could it be you've never known me? You cannot hope to own me, and the more you try, the darker I shine" Third Verse: Last line should be "I never learned all the lines that I was meant to say" Third Chorus: "Do you think you excite me? Could it be you don't like me? You are burning to fight me, and the more you try, the darker I shine." Cheers, R |

Might I humbly suggest a couple of amendments? First verse: First line is cups; I also believe they are "Beatle brushing boots". Second verse: "Hornsey Gardens" is an area in North London not too far from St. John's Wood where Nick Saloman grew up. I think you are correct that the fifth line is "road". Fourth verse: Begins with "Time floats away", and the third line is indeed "closing my eyes" Thanks for adding it! Cheers, R |
