Good thoughts! To delve further into your theory, I think both of the people in the song are him. And he is dealing with pressure and doing things he knows are wrong, but in the end he has to leave that person behind so that he can become a better person |

I can't believe no one on this site ever mentions his drug use. Alot of the lines are clearly about that.
"I have put myself here I am the culprit..." is definitely about doing drugs and being where he was because of his drug use. Even the name of this song could be about when he was high all the time. hence "Everyone Looks So Good From Here".
