I don't think he means cancer (although I could be wrong, haven't read all the comments). I always thought of it as mental illness, like depression. And I really don't think it means literal streets. I think it's more like "all the dark twisted corners of a mind" The police line did always confuse me though, but there are some good opinions on here about that. |

it could more poetically about orgasm, not just sex. but it's probs quite generic in its meaning, but that doesn't stop it from being BRILLIANT. It just makes me happy :) |

i dont think that is what it is saying at all. i think it's saying that "wedded bliss" being blissfully in love, "negates" or bypasses or nullifies, "the need to be undressed". i think it means that when you're truely in love you don't need to have sex all the time just to prove it. |
