nicole.x is right about the breakup part. but if you go deeper into the meaning its more about how this couple has been through so much together, and now it just feels like the end. they still love each other, so its hard to let go. they dont wanna end their relationship hating each other, they wanna end it with love. so theyre saying that before they each go their seperate ways they want "one last kiss, one last touch, one last tender moment.." etc. and the verse where it says "lets lay here for a while and cherish every moment we're in denial" is basically saying that its over, but they dont WANT it to be over, but you can FEEL that it is in fact over between them. so, they just wanna hold each other and act like everything is perfct (denial). |
