I think the meaning is probably about, like "evil" rulers, and how that the people will always win because no matter what the ruler will die. "You know that their time's coming to an end, We have to unify and watch our flag ascend" The people group together and make their country a better place after the evil guy dies, something like that, with a new, more "good" leader. "They'll try to push drugs to keep us all dumbed down, And hope that we will never see the truth around," Like how the leaders always try to hide everything they do, blah. "We will be victorious." The people will win, blah. Thats all I have to say. Also amazing song :) |

| This(I hate to bring another band into this but..) is why Rise Against is wayy better, because they make songs for people to hear them, get the meaning. The singer, Tim McIlrath , said he'd rather have 100 people hear his song than 100 dollars in his pocket. | |

I think this song is about how that we are stuck in our problems we have created and it will eventually get us in the future like how we are slowly destroying the Earth and mankind will slowly die with it. "And it will never let you go." As in we cant escape from what we have done, it wont let us go. "So beware, you'll find no winners in there." You will find no one that can win in escaping.. blah blah :/ I don't know im not good at this stuff. :P |
