Ok i think this song is about a guy in a relationship and it starts out nice like in the beginning take a piece of tinsel and put it on the tree ok talking about how sweet the relationship is cut a slab of melon and pretend you still love me this is when it starts going down hill arguing starts and she is starting to lose feeling for him. "carve out a pumpkin" refering to when you carve out a pumpkin you empty it all out so she is emptying him out of her life" rely on the destiny" refers to her letting things take toll and let them happend for reason. "get in your car and cruise the land of the brave and free" this means shes left and looking for something new. "but dont forget to understand exactly what you put on the tree dont believe the flourist when he tells you that the roses are free" this means hes telling her you cant just leave without throwing all the hardwork they came together and when refering to the flourist is another guy that wont treat her as good as the first guy once did. and when it talks about the pumpkin hes saying if you stay dont destroy this but if not just end it and cast it away |
