I know what these drinks really are but this part always reminds me of how substances, particularly hallucinogens, change your view on the world and the way you look at people forever. Maybe I was influenced by Fear and Loathing. But looking at it that way makes a lot of sense to me. I doubt drinking scotch, warchestershire suace, and railroad gin would really be so powerful in that way. |

Am I the only one who feels really sad, even depressed by this song? Memories/feelings of unrequited love and desperate shyness i suffered through in school. It gives me goosebumps, but in a kind of bad way. I just want to cry when I hear it. (especially the lyrics "yet my hand are shaking...") Reminds me of trying to talk to my crush in 4th grade. My first girlfriend also loved Virgin Suicides and Air (which I originally showed to her.) and we had a pretty rough relationship + break up. I know I'm sappy. But only a few songs effect this part of me so strongly. |

It is awesome. Aside from the old man's ass part, i think its pretty straight forward. I feel it has something to do with trying to have this guy ...and feed him paraffin (wax)? doing so, she begins to smell like it. well, i think it really depends on what she means by paraffin and its significance. I doubt she means it literally. it probably is symbolic/an analogy for something else. It may have to do with paraffin being something that is burned. Paraffin is also used in cooking, and also is used as a laxative. if it is the latter, ide say Ruby is quite the potty mouth. |

Well, this is a Siouxsie and the Banshees cover. Apparently Tricky/Massive Attack admired them. I love this song, and the original. The lyrics are different from the original but I think thats because Tricky just sang the song as he heard it. (it is a little tricky to make out the lyrics in the original song.)
