I think he feels distant from his friends and the other people close to him and he's wondering if they would even notice if he disappeared. Or: maybe he's wondering if they even notice that he's not there. Since the guys in Pink Floyd just eventually stopped picking him up for gigs. Maybe he was feeling forgotten. I know thats how I felt when I became distant fromt he friends I had in school. They just eventually stopped calling me and sometimes I wondered if they even knew I wasn't there. |
