Did anyone think it could just be about an author who gets too caught up in the characters he makes up and starts living them. He can't rid them from his bones, so his stories about them just go on and on because he's never satisfied with these stories and just can't let go? The if you don't love me line could be people's reactions to the characters that are so much a part of/reflection of the author.
That was my thought upon hearing it myself, but now I see the majority opinion also makes sense. |
