yeah, xoxtaliaa is correct. there is interviews with hayley, and the director of twilight. she specifically wrote this song for the movie. it isn't really about one of the bands personal experiences. but i'm sure some of the inspiration for the song came from their own lives. |

"this drama sat shotgun" -i think by that she meant that it was with her everywhere she went, like she couldn't stop thinking about it, no matter what she did. "my eyes rained like autumn" -she meant she couldn't stop crying about him and the whole situation. "only the glove box knows how the story goes" -i think she meant that she sat in his car in the passenger seat crying on the glove box. -or she could have meant that she wrote lyrics or her thoughts on opaper or in a notebook and hid them in her glove box. |
