makes good sense- love never dies, in a sense. one might love another even if they have died. i am being optimistic. there are people on this blog/forum thing who are so negative and arrogant. love does seem to "run in circles". this is a good song but it is sad. the music video seems to illustrate the meaning.

maybe that's it. i like some of that idea. a lot of people are taking the song literally. maybe it has a literal/metaphorical meaning. evryone has their own ideas. someone might ask chris martin what he thinks the song means. or the other band members, for that matter. |

i seem to agree with the three replies above. it does seem like you are proposing fascism, in a sense, and you also have no right to be calling people idiots and saying that they should be euthanized. and if u think that music is not important to people, why in the name of GOD are you posting things on this website? knowledge is not the key to happiness. but then you are probably gonna post something that might say "oh, thats just ur opinion, and im not proposing fascism." i'm amazed you haven't been reported or something like that. |

but, we don't always have to see something to understand it.

another theory i have is that he's talking about GOD. we can't see GOD Himself. Consequently, we don't understand Him and His actions as much as we'd like to. |

that does make sense. but it also has a more specific meaning. it says "if you could see it then you'd understand". i think the singer is talking about life. i mean, we can see it, but there are things about it we don't see. consequently, we don't understand them completely. |

i have some things to say-first, you guys sound like philosophers. and second, i agree!!! and with many different views. i like how rabidsquirrel put it-that the song can be interpreted in more than one way. it is one of my favorite songs. |

i have a feeling you are. it makes sense. time is running out on you, and you have to evade something. perhaps the words "home, home, where i wanted to go" mean that death came and the person is in heaven. (shrugs) |

i have to agree. the person is stuck in a tight spot because of a decision made too quickly or without acknowledging the consequences. |
