Emilie Autumn – Woman (Poem) Lyrics 15 years ago
Obviously she's talking about the sexism that surround us. How, although we're responsible for bringing them into the world (even with immense pain) they still treat us as inferior.

Kerli – Walking On Air Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it's about a girl who was never accepted by her peers because she was different.

But she kept being herself, even if she was lonely and 'set her world on fire'

It's about how in life there are always those people who aren't special or different in any way, and make fun of those who are. And she rose above all their expectations and became somebody.

Walking on air is the ultimate form of freedom, being yourself and confident and just leaving your doubts because you know you're better.

*love this song*

Stefy – Lucky Girl Lyrics 15 years ago

Well I'm first.

My guess is that she's talking about a relationship that seems so perfect, and she wants him to believe it's perfect. She tells herself she's so lucky to have this guy, to have somebody so special.

But sometimes it seems like their struggling, and she's struggling and just has to tell herself she's lucky, when really she wants someone more. She's truly unhappy and sad with the relationship, and puts herself through so much to save it.

She asks him if he knows it hurts.

Emilie Autumn – Dead Is the New Alive Lyrics 15 years ago
To me this song reflects an eating disorder my friend struggles with:

"Dead is the new alive, despairs the new survival." Because she's so tiny she looks dead, and to her survival is not eating, being hungry.

"A pointless point of veiw" Is how she thinks she's fat when she's tiny.

"You play the game, you never win" No matter how small she gets she's not tiny enough.

"A casket built for two" Sometimes anorexia is classified by a girl named 'Ana' who many talk about as if she's real.

"What is peace, without a blessed fight?" The peace she finds on the scale, being a pound lighter, only comes with fighting herself not to eat.

"A quick taste of the poison, a quick twist of the knife. When the obsessionw ith death, when the obsession with death becomes a way of life" The poison is food, almost as bad as a knife cutting her. The obsession with death, the obsession of looking dead, becomes a way of life. Anorexia.
