I think this song is about having a breakdown. Everyone named really specific things about what this song could be about, and I think it's about any of those or other things that would push someone to a breaking point. The energy of this song is so frantic and urgent, it's more of an 'in the moment' song, than any real deep meaning. |

This is about a girl who is questioning her boyfriends love for her. She feels like his affections for her have faded. she wishes he would just tell her about her intentions for her. She waited up for him just wondering where he was/who he was with/whether or not he cares for her anymore. She is scared to be left alone. She hopes he loves her as well as she loves him.
On a side note, I like Jessica Lea Mayfield because she is very open with her feelings, even the less than perfect ones. She doesn't care to show her neuroticisms/obsessions/desperate feelings off, and I love that. |

This song is about a girl who is trying really hard to love her boyfriend as much as she did before he hurt her. She's having a hard time pretending he didn't hurt her though. She is angry with him and feels no obligation to him since he cheated on her(I'm speculating). She feels nothing when they are intimate and knows they have no future. She feels stuck with someone she's not happy with, and in fact wants to almost hurt them back. She realizes it's probably better to just leave him even though they've tried to get back to normal. |

This song is about that overwhelming sadness we all feel when we are alone. Whenever you are alone your mind fixates on one particular thing/person/memory that you focus on to tug you out of your depression. This song is about her burying her sadness in someone else. She says she 'needs' him and pleads with him to never leave her, she recognizes by letting her mind obsess over how he makes her feel she has not rid herself of her sadness. If he left she'd be void of her distraction. She is terrified of being left totally alone to drown in her sadness by herself.
I love how relatable Jessica Lea Mayfield bears herself. It's a real look into the emotional phases people go through and get stuck in. I don't feel so crazy when I hear someone else that gets this frustrated/depressed/scared. Truely amazing at conveying human suffering, love, and distance. |
