I applied to college this year, and by some coincidence, almost every time this song played on shuffle one of my parents was in the room. The song even had me convinced not to apply for a while, but I decided against it. |

I think that "Sasong" is meant to be a "Sad Song." The lyrics seem to be about a sad time, when Avey is recovering from a breakup and looking out at the sad things in the world. The "worms" could be symbolic of people that get stepped on, the "calf that is growing six legs" a representation of the people who just don't fit in. |

I checked the booklet for this CD and it says "All tongs were mixed by Rusty, Panda, and Avey at Green Leaf House in January 2004" Might be an influence for the title. |
