Well regardless of what the artist intended it to be about...this song completely describes 'scene kids' to me. I feel like this song would have a lot more depth (cause it is a really good song) if it was about something more relevant to their lives,than public opinion is. Yeah I know public opinion can effect your life but..I don't think you should mix 'art' with a debate/statement...might just be me but.. i've never seen another COUNTRY singer do that...only rap arists. |

I have a huge hunch this song.. is about an ex girlfriend - [spoiler] the message at the end she left him on the machine. [it isn't on these lyrics for some reason] I think the title is mocking her as a god,saying she's so selfless she buys gucci. "Fall to your knees is what you told to me
 How can I believe?" She wants him to give in,i'm guessing for him to forgive her,but he's asking how can he trust her. "When you live a lie
 Lie To my face it's nothing new to me" Apparently everytime he forgives her the same thing happens. "And they're not following, not following

Yeah this song is without a doubt,about a girl he likes.. /sarcasm Did you bother reading the chorus? It's obviously about being cheated on. But not only that,I would think this songs about being left for ones ex "You sold me out so fast Quickly inditing me into the shit that is your past" It could also be about a broken friendship though...but same concept. |
