I think part of the Lyrics are wrong. I believe that the "Your teeth are out of porcelain made by masters in China." Should really be... "Your teeth rival porcelain made by masters in China." |

| I posted my idea right below yours but i didnt read yours till AFTER i posted mine because i didnt want y train of thought you be clouded with what others said. It looks like we might have some of the same ideas. Lol. Yours is worded much nicer then mine of course but it seems it might be along the same lines. I like the way you think. This is a very lengthy and wordy explination by you, but well worth the read. Very well done. =] | |

I think this is actually against god, or so it would seem. Not just agaisnt god, but agaisnt people who believe in him. "No one laughs at God in a hospital No one laughs at God in a war No one's laughing at God when they're starving or freezing or so very poor" These and the other ones like it, make me think that she is saying, people either find religion of start being religious only when times are tough. Kind of like, we all turn our backs on him and laught at him and or with him when it happens to other people, but when its happening to us thats when we want to cry our boo hoos and ask "Why god why me?" "God can be funny When told he'll give you money if you just pray the right way And when presented like a genie Who does magic like Houdini Or grants wishes like Jiminy Cricket and Santa Claus God can be so hilarious Ha ha Ha ha" This to me seems as if she were trying to say something along the lines that god is a joke. or isnt real. Like people will believe in him and do thing in his name because they want something. Like money or safty or whatever. And other times god is presented kind of like this all powerful magical being that cna do it all, like Houdini, but behind all the smoke and mirrors it was just a regualr person fooling you. Which seems to be the same with Santa, it is a story that parents tell there kids to fool them into being good, And why are they good? For the reward at the end... Sound familiar? Genie's remind me of the same thing. In the magic catagory.... "We're all laughing with God" Kind of sounds to me like she is saying that the joke is on all of us. So instead of laughing at god, we are laughing with him. probably to not incur his wrath and be punished as mentioned before. |
