Okay, I wanted to let you know the real meaning of this really sad song. It is about a 7 year old girl named Katie Flynn. She was the flower girl in her aunts wedding and was killed on their way home after the wedding, July 1, 2005. A drunk driver crashed head on into their limo after driving two miles the wrong way on the Meadowbrook Parkway. The limo driver Stan Rabinowitz was also killed.Stan was killed on impact, Katie was decapitated. Katie’s mother sat on the side of the high way cradling her daughters severed head. Brand New is from Long Island and wrote this song about her. i hope you can see it now. |
