she said that's actually three different songs, but at a point they decided to turn them into a single one. you can hear the points where it shifts mood. great. even though its lenght i could listen to this over and over again. so, so f. great. best song on the album hands down. |

yeah, this isn't exactly one of rilo kiley's best works. but it's catchy i guess, of course if they really wanted to try something else they should have at least avoided madonna-style lyrics. oh well, under the blacklight surely isn't their best but i must say i like it anyway. though i hope they'll be back to something deeper in the future. |

My favourite part is probably "And I'm not buying it either but I'll try selling it anyway" referring to the uy "opening up a museum", it's like she's saying yeah, in the end we all sorta do that. so there is absolutely no self-righteousness in this song and that's what makes it special in my opinion. ...not to mention the "you'll panic and throw your own shit at the enemy" part of course XD |
