Framing Hanley – 23 Days Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this is oddly funny. I was with one of my friend-girls at a Framing Hanley concert. We had kind of crushed on each other back and forth in the past, but then at the concert she randomly turned around and kissed me. A few weeks later she started dating some tool on an impulse...never really gave me a chance.

Albeit, this was during "Count Me In" but I just feel like this song fits that whole situation (there's more to it but no need for further explanation) for me.

Mushroomhead – Erase the Doubt Lyrics 15 years ago
After reading rock hawk and joeynobody's interpretation, I get the impression that they're asking for the idea of religion to become more relateable. Jeff says "Come down from your throne and tear off your wings"...meaning become more like a human being, and then attempt to preach to me. He seems to be the one asking for arguments supporting religion, while Waylon gives his view on the way they live. This is one of my favorite songs on this album, and to me it just got better.

Junkie XL – Fuck More Lyrics 16 years ago
All I can come up with is that despite how bad everything may be, you should just keep rocking, rolling, and fucking more...like Pac-Man?

Don't ask me what Pac-Man's doing in there.

Lupe Fiasco – Hip Hop Saved My Life Lyrics 16 years ago
This song is about Chad Lamar Butler better known by his stage name Pimp C, a member of the Houston rap group, Underground Kings aka UGK. He passed away on December 4, 2007 because of an accidental overdose of promethazine & codeine cough syrup, otherwise known as lean, drank, purple drank, syrup, etc. It's referenced in many Texas songs. Anyway, the drug itself won't kill you, but because he suffered from sleep apnea, he passed away in his sleep. This song is a tribute to him, hence the opening line which actually says, "This one right here is for my homie with the drink." Since it says "dream" it could easily speak for any up & coming hip-hop artist, but everything in this song is centered around Houston (Galleria, Wipe Me Down, Stack That Cheese, etc.). It's really interesting to see everyone's interpretations without knowing for sure who exactly it was about. Hope this helps! It's a really great song. Lupe does a GREAT job of turning a full story into an excellent tribute song. R.I.P. Pimp C.
