igloothomas is right, if you've read much of the band's bio Loren was raised in a very religious environment. I think the line "Don't you beg for prayer when there's so much more" is likely something that Tommy, his mentor, told him many times to motivate him. The whole song reads like a collection of things Tommy told him whenever he was getting into playing music and it was obvious that he had the talent to be great. |
