Well I'd have to disagree with you "a feelings just a feeling til you let it get the best of who you are" is my favorite possibly the best of the whole album, its so true and just leaves me speechless... But I am glad that it's the last line of the song and of the album it kinda sums it up... and it's just beautiful anythings worth never feeling alone |

Well it could work and i can see it. Everybody has their own opinion and sees it as they want to. I see it as a girl that took him away from his "darkest days." I'm guessing a girl broke his heart hints "ive been beaten down" and "I lost my faith, in my darkest days." I can relate and its amazing. Spot on. and "she waited patiently" could refer to the girl who waited for him, who was there all along this is how I see it, she is love and takes everything else away therefore she is all he needs and i think these lyrics are missing arguably the best part... "and when that world slows down dear, and when those stars burn out hear she'll be there, ya she'll be there" - beautiful |

O and I also find it funny the name of the song is weathered. He never actually says it, but you can tell thats how he was feeling. Probably my favorite off the album, top 3 for sure |

I think this song is about a broken heart and him trying to get over it. Its hard though, hints "This is War" And this is the second time he mentions winter, the first is in "Where I Wanna Be" So I'm guessing it was during winter And I think the line "so tell me what you think of the atmosphere, and all those months inside my head" is just genius. It also hits home, I know exactly what he means. Sometimes you just can't stop thinking of something or someone no matter how bad you want to. O ya, and I also think "I've got all these plans laid out again... like this is war" is nothing short of brilliant. |

I totally agree. The dangerous summer is amazing period. Not only do they have a great sound,they also have awesome, meaningful lyrics. And i must say, this song is probably about his mom... But I can see how it could be about a girl as well "I cant find the strength in my voice to call you back and say that everything was bad without you" is exactly how i feel about a girl, its actually pretty funny, hes dead on. I mean how fucking amazing is that line? All of them, Aj is amazing A few other favs in this song... "Well I'm an optimist, but only in a perfect world" and "It's all about position and where I choose to lay..." Ahh screw it, the whole song = ridiculous TDS is the BEST |
