Doesn't it sound like "I won't commit for long" instead of "compete"? It's just that I don't hear the "p". The "no no no yes" part is great isn't it? I think it is somehow a very accurate description of a certain feeling/thought that we all get sometimes... Why did these guys removed the lyrics from their web page?! WWHHYYYY?! |

It does clearly reference Rosicrucians... "Bound by oath and honor Like the rose and cross An enigmatic union of esoteric thoughts" ...but it is not exactly a religion and it's certainly not the same as Wiccans or the Illuminati or Satanism. Although they're all very interesting... It's another ancient secret society thing like Freemasonry and the Illuminati. I would say the song is not about a specific group, but a general reference to all of this secret esoteric ancient things that are becoming more popular these days. Also, it's true it is not clear if the song's in favor or against... or probably neither; maybe it's exactly about the fact that we can't really know what's going on. |
